I bet you weren’t expecting a Zombies Ate My Neighbors cartoon…especially not one with kinda grim overtones. I hope your day is a little weirder now.

I’ve been playing Zombies Ate My Neighbors again recently on an emulator for the nostalgia factor and because I never managed to beat it as a kid.  I haven’t even seen half of the game’s levels for that matter.  The game’s no joke!  The difficulty is crazy and without co-op and someone to watch your back/fight off approaching monster hordes/save victims from immediate peril it’s an incredible test in patience.  And at 50+ levels it’s hard to play it all the way through (the password system was a joke).  I’m considering Game Genie codes to dull the difficulty curve just to complete the full game, though save stating might be better, especially to discover all the hidden bonus levels.
